My art is inspired by real life and day dreams, good sleep and travels, new music and over exaggerated fire line stories.
About
I was born in a mountain town in Northern New Mexico and did not know how much there was to see and learn until way too late in life.
My art journey started when I was young. My parents always encouraged our creativity, and the best days ever where when I would get a new sketch book, box of crayons or new drawing pencils.
I began painting in 2014 after being inspired by so many talented past, present, near, and far artists that left me in awe and with feelings of must have.
All my work is an on going experience. I’m always learning and my “style” is always evolving. I hope it never stays the same.
My fire art is inspired from my time on a Type 1 Hotshot crew working for the Forest Service and my fellow Wildland Firefighters experiences.
Sharing work is so personal but art is meant to be seen. I hope my work stops you for a second look, inspires a feeling of awe, or stirs a must have feeling.
