The title Full Bloom came from not only the flowers, but from the model being fully confident, strong, graceful, present and blooming.
This painting started off as strictly a portrait, but she was too powerful not to have something delicate she was taking care of. This is a tribute to the connection with nature, and who better to show us than this beauty.
It was some work to place the flowers appropriately to appear natural and fight my left brain telling me where they should be, not where they aught to be.
This piece brings so much beauty, strength and balance wherever she is displayed.
