This piece… This piece is a digital recreation of one of my most proud pencil drawings ever. This pencil drawing was created the same week as “Light as Air”. After the creation of these pencil drawings, I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to be an artist. I was able to create a piece that moved me.

This was my first attempt at digital work. It was great because the risks were low and I could experiment with the new medium. This piece has been created into stickers and mugs. Originally the idea was to put her on shirts and sweaters. Maybe still an option? The digital work is a blast to convert hard pencil drawing into mailable work. Still an absolute favorite concept of mine!
