Nothing brings calmness like sitting in front of the tide, especially at sunset. I was imagining to have the beach to myself.
I wanted to capture the amazing colors that sunsets bring. The most challenging parts of this painting was to create the waves and reflections on the water. It would have been too easy to over work them and add too much brilliant color. So the hardest part was deciding when to stop.
This is another large piece (36 inches long) that brings warmth and tranquility wherever it is displayed. I am really grateful for this piece.
