Art Information

The Reflection is a combination of two passions, landscapes and figurative. The question is what she is seeing? Is she looking at a beach sunset, is she reliving a memory, or seeing the world how she views it? I’m not sure, but I do know it doesn’t look like a bad place to be. 

The two passions were combined and then separated with the use of color or absence of. I wanted to find a way to combine the two but have them make sense and compliment each other. It was a challenge to keep the black, white and colors separated using only the frames of glasses. 

This is a larger piece and is meant to be seen from a distance. I am very proud of how well everything came together. The contrast between color and black and white makes this piece something to see.
