Art Information

There are beautiful cities with their own character and feelings all around the world. Then there is Mother Nature that is the ultimate inspiration for beauty. 

This painting was created not to show the clash between the urban environment and nature but to compliment their relation. Without the black and white city the trees would not be as vibrant. I wanted them to have equal weight and equal detail because they are both needed to complete the painting. 

This piece was created using a knife palette and a lot of paint. My favorite part is towards the center, the fading city is still very present, only in white paint.
