I love this piece. It originally started as a straight portrait but eventually she required more.

This work was one of my first portraits of only a face. Her evolution was amazing to be a part of. There were times I wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to do her the justice based on what I saw in front of me on the canvas. I would just concentrate and after each session she would come to life more. I did not create her as much as I brought her out.

I feel all the extra graphics added are there just to support her eyes and her lips. This piece is beautiful, and she makes everywhere she is beautiful.
