Art Information

This work is titled “Sonoran Dreams”. After sunsets and long walks amongst the saguaros, the desert was etched into my memory. I was not planning on a desert reflection originally, but I could not be happier with my decision.

The work is a greyscale portrait contrasted with a striking-colored reflection. The juxtaposition between the muted monochrome palette and the intricate, vivid reflections creates a beautiful image that uses empty space and framing to capture out attention. Staying true to the theme of my Visuals collection, the landscape feels symbolic, suggesting an inner vision, memory, or alternate reality concealed behind an otherwise controlled exterior. It invites the viewer to question perceptions versus feelings—what is seen and what is experienced.

The elongated horizontal format also makes it particularly suited for prominent display, offering both impact from afar and detail up close. This piece is ment to be shared.
