This lovely piece is delicate and beautiful. When I first began this piece, I knew I had a wonderful model but was not sure what I would do to spotlight her or how to give her a reason.

The work of her figure came together nicely and flowed from the beginning. My favorite parts are her hands, her lips and her eyes. They all turned out perfect. However, once the model was finished I was left with the decision of how to use the rest of the canvas. What was her reason?

It just so happened to be springtime as I was creating this and all the blossoms of the trees were in full bloom. I had my answer. This work lightens and soothes where ever she is seen and brings elegance with her.
